German producer prices for commercial wood products continued to rise in July 2018.\u00a0Compared to the previous year, all values \u200b\u200bexcept laminated particleboards have increased.\u00a0In comparison with\u00a0the previous month of\u00a0June, there are only a few negative signs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Compared to July 2017, only the value for coated chipboard remains at the previous year's level and, as in June, is -0.17% compared to the previous year.\u00a0All other reported values \u200b\u200bhave increased more or less.\u00a0Raw particleboards leads the list, followed by narrow boards and finger-jointed lumber.\u00a0The least pronounced increase was recorded in hardwood lumber and laminate flooring.<\/p>\n

Even in the short-term comparison with June 2018, the majority of the indices have increased.\u00a0Exceptions are lumber, pellets and laminate flooring, whose values \u200b\u200bare declining slightly, as well as hardwood lumber.\u00a0The highest increase is seen in HDF boards at + 2.44%, followed by finger-jointed lumber and narrow boards.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
