The prices for roundwood in Estonia stabilized in July. Most of the products are at the levels of the previous month. Only small-diameter pine price decreased.<\/em><\/p>\n

On contrast, small-diameter spruce price has increased so that its value is now higher than that of pine.<\/p>\n

The prices for aspen and birch veneer have fallen, but are still well above the previous year's level.<\/p>\n

Birch pulpwood is still significantly more expensive than in July 2017, while aspen pulpwood has fallen back to around the previous year's level after two price rises.<\/p>\n

By contrast, the upswing in coniferous wood is unbroken.\u00a0After a price dip in May and June, the price of pine pulpwood rose sharply in July.\u00a0Together with the spruce it is at a new all-time high of 50 EUR \/ m3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
