Roundwood prices in Finland have mostly increased in May, both as compared to April as well as compared to the same month of 2017. Pine sawlogs' price is higher by almost EUR 0.50\/cbm while spruce sawlogs are more expensive by EUR 0.46\/cbm. <\/em><\/p>\n

Pine and spruce pulpwood price has also increased as compared to the previous month, though birch pulpwood is cheaper by EUR 0.21 per cbm.<\/p>\n

On a yearly basis, prices are on an upward trend. Only birch sawlogs are cheaper by an insignificant -1.80%. Spruce and pine sawlogs are both more expensive than in May 2018, and pulpwood assortments have gained in price terms by between +4.11% up to +7.62% for spruce.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
