Segezha Group's construction of a wood pellet plant at the industrial site of JSC Lesosibirskiy LDK No. 1 is ongoing.<\/em><\/p>\n

The construction is conducted by a subsidiary of the timber holding company - OOO Xylotek-Siberia. The total volume of production under the project is 70 thousand tons of fuel pellets per year.<\/p>\n

As the company states in a press release, the new facilities will allow Segezha Group to use the forest resources in a comprehensive manner, as well as to ensure the utilization of waste by converting it into biofuel pellets and heat energy.<\/p>\n

The launch of a pellet plant in Siberia is scheduled for November 2018. Currently, the final stages of the installation of the main pellet production sites - drying drums, ash removal system, platform and cyclone for raw sawdust, fuel conveyor for furnaces and cyclone cones for dry fiber are being completed. At the same time, work is under way to erect a factory building.<\/p>\n

The head of the project for the construction of the pellet plant, Alexander Patarushin, stressed that the construction is proceeding according to the approved plan. Equipment from a supplier, worth more than 6 million euros, was received in full.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
