The Rougier Group sells its forest and industrial activities in Cameroon and the Central African Republic.<\/em><\/p>\n

In connection with Rougier Afrique International\u2019s court-ordered receivership proceedings, Poitiers Commercial Court authorized, during its hearing on 13 July, the entire process for the sale of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Foresti\u00e8re et Industrielle de la Doum\u00e9 (SFID), Cambois and Sud Participation in Cameroon and Rougier Sangha-Mba\u00e9r\u00e9 (RSM) in the Central African Republic.<\/p>\n

The companies SFID, Cambois, Sud Participation and RSM have been acquired by Sodinaf (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de distribution nouvelle d\u2019Afrique) following the definitive agreements signed on 16 July in Douala.<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s other French and African companies are not concerned, and the French import subsidiary Rougier Sylvaco Panneaux is notably economically and financially independent.<\/p>\n

Following the hearing on 13 July 2018, Poitiers Commercial Court has taken into consideration the restructuring operations carried out and the progress made by both Rougier SA and Rougier Afrique International. The Court has authorized a continued observation period for the two companies in order to allow them to finalize the proposed plan and submit it to their creditors.<\/p>\n
