Austrian wood-based panel producer Kronospan plans to increase the investment in their Oxford, Alabama expansion by US$101m to a total of US$463m.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The expansion was originally announced in mid-2016. The 2016 expansion project was supposed to encompass four projects: Two laminate flooring and decorative paper impregnation lines; that is, the base upon which decorative paper is placed to manufacture laminated flooring; a particleboard and thermally-infused laminate line; an expansion of its resin plant; development of the furniture cluster.<\/p>\n

The project was originally slated to begin late 2016 and continue through 2018.\u00a0No new timeline was announced.<\/p>\n
