On May 24, 2018, in the Belarusian city of Smorgon, Kronospan holding laid a foundation stone of a new plant for the production of plywood.<\/em><\/p>\n

Plywood production is a new direction for the holding, which will strengthen the company's presence in Eastern Europe markets.<\/p>\n

In Belarus, the holding is already represented by two production sites in Mogilev-Kronospan OSB LLC and in Smorgon-Kronospan LLC.<\/p>\n

On January 5,2018, two companies were registered as residents of the Grodnoinvest FEZ-Kronospan NT LLC and the LLC Ultra Ply LLC company (both of which are part of Kronospan). It is expected that the first company will be engaged in the production of MDF\/HDF, laminated flooring, painted HDF.\u00a0 The second will build a plant for the production of plywood, laminated plywood and veneer.<\/p>\n
