Finnish sawmill Haapaj\u00e4rven Saha Ha-Sa (Ha-Sa) has acquired Mets\u00e4 Fibre's Eskola Sawmill in Kannus in Finland.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mets\u00e4 Fibre is part of Finnish Mets\u00e4 Group. The acquisition covers the properties and business operations of Eskola Sawmill. The sawmill's 33 employees will be transferred to Ha-Sa.<\/p>\n

Ha-Sa estimates that the sawmill's annual production will increase to roughly 70,000 cubic metres from the current 50,000 cubic metres. After the acquisition, Ha-Sa's net sales will total around EUR 100mn and annual production volume 500,000 cubic metres.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
