During the first four months of 2018, the lumber exports from Russia grew in value and in volume. The country\u00a0exported 5.749 million tonnes of lumber, 3.2% more than in January-April 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n

The value of the\u00a0exported Russian lumber also went up during the mentioned period and amounted to\u00a0$1.378 billion, 19% more than in the same period last year.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the log exports from Russia descended\u00a0in volume terms, reaching to 5.78 million m3, going down 7.4% y-o-y, but increased in value terms, coming up to\u00a0 $511.2 million, 6.5% more than in January-April 2017.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
