In January-March 2018, Russia increased its lumber exports, both in value and in volume terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thus, during the first three months of the current year Russia exported 4.037 million tonnes of lumber. That is 1.3% more than during the respective period of the last year.<\/p>\n

The total value of the exported Russian lumber increased as well. In January-March 2018 it came up to $975.5 million having gone up by 17.9%.<\/p>\n

In their turn, Russian logs exports went down in volume terms, but increased in value terms. In January-March 2018, the Russian log exports came up to 4.44 million m3, having gone down by 5.8% year-on-year.<\/p>\n

The total value of the Russian logs exported in January-March 2018 came up to $399.8 million, that is 10.6% more than during the respective period of 2017.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
