Uniboard recently announced a CAD$17 million (US$13.21 million)\u00a0investment in a new state-of-the-art TFL press line at its\u00a0Sayabec, Quebec, Canada\u00a0mill. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The new press line will feature the same advanced technologies as TFL 6 with an increased capacity for its signature EIR\/synchronised and deep-embossed textures, in addition to all of its melamine texture offerings. This new investment reaffirms Uniboard\u2019s leadership in engineered wood products.<\/p>\n

\u201cRapidly increasing demand for Uniboard\u2019s textured finishes will be supported by this investment. Our investment into TFL 7 underlines Uniboard\u2019s strategy and vision for design, differentiation and growth in thermally fused laminate<\/em>,\u201d James N. Hogg, President and CEO of Uniboard, said. \u201cTFL 7, as a testament to our success and to our commitment to be the North American leader in TFL design and technology, allows our customers to take the lead with North American sourced TFL<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Uniboard will preview its new 2019-2020 TFL collection at the International Woodworking Fair from\u00a0the 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0to the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0of August, 2018 as well as at launch events in Montr\u00e9al and\u00a0Quebec\u00a0in September and October 2018.<\/p>\n

There will be 18 new designs and two new textures shown, making Uniboard\u2019s TFL collection the most innovative, diversified and comprehensive line of TFL colours and textures available in the North American market.
