According to data provided by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), no change was recorded for seven of the seventeen index values when compared to the previous month.

And even where prices show some change, they are usually below 1%. The most significant change was for narrow boards. The index value increased by 1.7% as compared to February.

A little more dynamic and mixed are the developments over the same month of last year, which show a slight downward trend. The softwood lumber assortments registered a minor price fall. The strongest decrease was registered for square stock timber, particleboard and KVH.
