Russian plywood producer CJSC \u201cMurom\u201d has ordered a complete plant from Siempelkamp. The ambitious goal of this cooperation was the development of OSB Advanced, an innovative product for forward-looking customers and markets, produced on an industrial scale in a way that conserves resources.<\/em><\/p>\n

With the product OSB Advanced and the new plant, JSC \u201cMurom\u201d will fully utilize round timber resources used in plywood production for its wood-based material production, thus saving considerable production costs. With OSB Advanced, CJSC \u201cMurom\u201d will be able to offer a formaldehyde-free OSB board which, due to its outstanding mechanical properties, is increasingly used in interior design as well as in the furniture industry.<\/p>\n

Siempelkamp from Krefeld will produce the core of the plant \u2013 the ContiRoll\u00ae Generation 9, with a length of 30.4 m and a production width of 8.5\u00b4. This ultra-modern continuous press offers numerous technical innovations.<\/p>\n

With the new investment, CJSC \u201cMurom\u201d will produce 50,000 m\u00b2 of OSB Advanced boards daily, mainly for national demand. This will more than double the production capacity of CJSC \u201cMurom\u201d to 550,000 m\u00b3 annually. The start of installation at the plant is already planned for the 4Q 2018. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2019 and regular production will get underway in the spring of 2020.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
