Sokol Timber Company\u00a0invested in a new for a new \u00a0processing line to produce house parts made of the glued laminated timber (glulam).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The new line, supplied by\u00a0Hundegger (Germany), allows to increase production and to expand the premium product range with 280 mm timber. The line is also expected to decrease production costs.<\/p>\n

The new equipment secures the quality tolerances in the range of\u00a0+\/- 0.5 mm. It allows to manufacture one house set (around 150 m2<\/sup>\u00a0area) in up to one working day. All parts are marked according to a project and its specification. The\u00a0Hundegger\u2019s processing line works with\u00a0CAD-based engineering software.\u00a0The equipment works round the clock.<\/p>\n

Sokol Timber Company is\u00a0the largest woodworking production enterprise in the European part of\u00a0Russia. It was the first in the country mastering glued beams production technology and manufacturing house kits based on the technology. The company is part of Segezha Group (Sistema JSFC).<\/p>\n

Earlier Sokol Timber Company\u00a0presented wood frame-panel based luxury quarter project for the Moscow region of Russia<\/p>\n
