Sveza received approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of\u00a0Russia\u00a0(the FAS\u00a0Russia) for the previously announced acquisition of Tyumen\u00a0Plywood\u00a0Plant from its current owner Almira Karimova. According to the announcement, the company \u00a0acquired 100% shares of the plant.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tyumen Plywood Plant\u00a0is one of the most modern wood processing companies in Russia \u2013 most of the production facilities were commissioned in 2008. It produces around 92 thousand\u00a0m3<\/sup>\u00a0of plywood per year. The company is specialized in a large-format birch plywood.<\/p>\n

Sveza plans to further expand production of Tyumen Plywood Plant\u00a0 to\u00a0120,000 m3<\/sup>\u00a0in the next years.<\/p>\n

Earlier Sveza introduced a\u00a0new plywood for laser cutting applications.<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0is one of the leading players in the woodworking market. It produces high-quality plywood of natural Russian birch and hold a global\u00a0leadership in this area.
