After reports in several local media, the Egger Group has published an opinion regarding a possible transfer of production from Marienm\u00fcnster-V\u00f6rden to Bevern.<\/em><\/p>\n

Accordingly, the EGGER Group is considering relocating the production plants from the Marienm\u00fcnster coating plant to Bevern in the medium to long term.\u00a0The reason is based on technological and investment strategy considerations.\u00a0However, there are no concrete decisions for this at the moment.<\/p>\n

The potentially affected employees were already informed in 2016 about the corresponding considerations.\u00a0In the event of a relocation to Bevern, none of the currently around 180 employees in Marienm\u00fcnster is to be released, but may continue to be employed at the Bevern location 26 km away.<\/p>\n

In Bevern, Egger produces thin MDF boards, in Marienm\u00fcnster coated and refined for furniture back walls.\u00a0Both plants have been managed since 2013 under central management and administration.\u00a0Egger declares that it will continue to produce thin MDF furniture back walls in the Weserbergland.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
