Turkish Kastamonu increased its output in 2017 at the Alabuga plant in Russia. Production\u00a0of wood-based panels and laminate went up by 30%, as compared to 2016.<\/em><\/p>\n

The increase came once with the\u00a0launch of the second stage of production of MDF boards in 2016. Now, the production capacity exceeds\u00a0 1 million m\u00b3 of MDF boards and 35 million m\u00b2 of laminate per year.<\/p>\n

\"The good quality of the products, the successful location of the plant, the balanced pricing policy have brought these results<\/em>,\" said Ali Kylich, CEO of Kastamonu in Russia. \"Today, the company's products have gained strong positions not only in the Russian market: more than 40% are exported to dozens of European countries and Asia. We plan to further strengthen our positions in the domestic and foreign markets and to increase the output by another 13% in 2018.\"<\/p>\n

The total investment of Kastamonu in the construction of two stages of the plant was \u20ac 400 million (\u20ac 270 million - the first stage, \u20ac 130 million - the second stage). According to this indicator, the company is the second resident of the SEZ Alabuga, by the total volume of investments, and the largest Turkish investor in Tatarstan. More than 800 new jobs were created directly in production, and more than 2500 in related and service industries.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
