Innovations4Flooring (I4F), a technology company providing innovative flooring technologies, announced on the 8th of January that it has signed a global strategic partnership agreement with Kronospan. <\/em><\/p>\n

As part of this agreement, I4F receives rights for Kronospan\u2019s one thousand-strong patent portfolio covering flooring locking, wall panels, board compositions and production, as well as digital printing and furniture.\u00a0This adds to I4F\u2019s strategic partnership agreements with Classen and Kowon, established in 2017.<\/p>\n

With more than forty production sites and 14,500 people globally, Kronospan is the world\u2019s largest manufacturer of wood-based panel products. Kronospan also holds a leading position in the production of laminate flooring with a strong investment plan for manufacturing LVT flooring.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the new agreement with I4F, Ignace Gorus, Kronospan\u2019s Head of Intellectual Property said, \u201cWe see I4F as a leader in flooring installation IP and believe it is well placed to become a similar authority in other flooring, wall and furniture technologies. \u00a0Its innovative approach will maximize the impact of our R&D efforts to deliver market leading products<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
