The average price of wood pellets in Austria has reached of 232.9 \u20ac per tonne of wood pellets or 4.75 Cent per kWh in November 2017.<\/p>\n
As compared to the previous year, the price has gone up by +3.4%. As compared to September 2017, the price is +0.8% higher.<\/p>\n
At the moment, in Austria, wood pellets in bags cost an average of \u20ac 3.97 per 15 kg bag (when ordered by the pallet). This represents an increase of +3.1% as compared to the same month of 2016 and +0.1% higher compared to the previous month.<\/p>\n
Ordinarily the prices for wood pellets vary throughout the year with particularly favorable prices being offered in spring when local pellet producers advertise so-called \u201estorage offers\u201c. On average, the wood pellet prices during the special storage offers in the months of April and May are about 10% lower than prices in winter.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
