The roundwood prices in Estonia mostly decreased during January 2017, as compared to last year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

However, an exception is birch veneer, whose price has risen more than 10% from December 2016 to January 2017, at an average of EUR 116.03\/m3. As compared to January 2016, the price is almost 20% higher.<\/p>\n

The price for birch logs increased by 1.9% since December, reaching EUR 61.01\/m3.\u00a0Another noticeable feature is in aspen wood, whose price grew by almost 19% between December and January and now stands at EUR 23.13 \/ m3, at 2.8% above the previous year's level.<\/p>\n

Also, spruce pulpwood\u00a0is 2.7% more expensive than in December\u00a0and birch pulpwood has declined by 2.35% from December to January and is now 9% lower than in January 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
