Russian roundwood, sawnwood and plywood export volumes increased during January-November 2016.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

During the mentioned period, the Russian roundwood businesses got more and more active both in volume and in value terms, while the log exports increased by 5.44% as compared to the same period last year, reaching 18.23 million m3. In terms of value,\u00a0the Russian exported logs during the first three quarters of the current year grew year-on-year by 2.11%, reaching\u00a0US$1.219 billion.<\/p>\n

As shown in the\u00a0foreign trade statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Service, the sawnwood exports grew both in volume and in value terms, while plywood increased only in volume. During the first eleven months of 2016, Russia exported\u00a014.89 million tonnes of sawnwood, which is 14.14% more than during the respective period of the previous year.<\/p>\n

Also,\u00a0Russia exported sawnwood whose total value came up to US$2.917 billion, that is 3.14% more than in 2015.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the plywood exports from Russia reached\u00a02.265\u00a0million m3 and increased by 13.11% year-on-year, but their total value was reduced as compared to the same period of 2015. In January-November 2016, the Russian plywood exports came up to USS$865.5 million in value terms, that is 4.99% less than the previous year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
