The upward trend in Lithuanian roundwood prices registered in January has slowed down in February. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Pine, spruce and birch sawlogs have become cheaper as compared to January by between EUR -0,29, down to EUR -1,15 per cubic meter. However, alder and small-sized softwood have gained a small price increase.<\/p>\n

Year-on-year, in February, almost all prices for roundwood in Lithuania are higher, except birch and alder. Pine and spruce sawlogs are more expensive by 9,5% and almost 14% respectively, meanwhile pine and spruce pulpwood prices have increased by more than 20%. Only alder and birch prices have declined as compared to the same month of 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
