The office will handle sales of both products under Martin Chovan, sales director at S\u00f6dra Cell.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f6dra already has an established business in North America and intends to use the additional presence to develop existing accounts and attract new customers. The company sees opportunities for responsibly sourced forest products in the US, although it has not disclosed sales targets or the size of the investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe United States is an important market where we see significant opportunities to grow together with our customers,\u201d Chovan said. He added that a local team would help S\u00f6dra better understand customer requirements and adapt its pulp and sawn timber offer.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion also includes a logistics partnership intended to improve market access.
