Wood pellets price in Germany on the rise in January
The price for wood pellets in Germany slightly rose during January, once with the falling temperatures. The national average for wood pellets has reached EUR 251.34/tonne, 2.4% more than in December 2017 and 3.8% more than in January last year. The price per kilogram is 25.13 cents, while one kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat from wood pellets costs 5.03 cents.
