The price for wood pellets in Germany has decreased accordingly to the arrival of the warm season. Thus, the price of EN plus wood pellets went down by -3.6% during April 2017, as compared to March, reaching EUR 246.08/tonne.  As compared to the same period of 2016, the price is also 6.1% higher, while the price advantage over natural gas and heating oil is just under 15%, according to the survey of the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV).  "In the spring, the price of pellets generally decreases significantly," explains Martin ...
