Weather conditions continued to thwart the US softwood lumber trading. Buyers and sellers in US acknowledged that they were tiring of blaming the weather for the market’s weak showing in February.  However, the negative effects on the market from persistent wet and wintry conditions were undeniable. Even in areas that were warming and drying, buyers kept replenishment to a minimum, as they needed time to move sold but undelivered inventories to their customers.
