US investment company completes acquisition of majority stake in Europe’s largest wood pellet company
Apollo Global Management Inc. has closed acquisition of 80% stake in AS Graanul Invest. The transaction was approved by the European Competition Authority. “For Apollo, the deal is a major step as a strategic investment in Europe’s green energy transition. Apollo’s long-term goal is to support European companies and the transition of the energy sector to renewable energy sources.
