U.S. launches antidumping and countervailing duty investigations into hardwood plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam
The U.S. Department of Commerce has initiated antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations into imports of hardwood and decorative plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, following petitions filed on May 22 by the Coalition for Fair Trade in Hardwood Plywood. The investigations aim to determine whether these countries are selling plywood in the U.S. at less than fair value and whether their governments are unfairly subsidizing exports.
