Trends in German log and lumber exports to China are hugely different
From January to October this year, German softwood logs exported to China fell by about 38% year-on-year, totaling 2.84 million m³. This year, German softwood logs exported to China generally showed a downward trend, from 510,000 m³ in January to 170,000 m³ in October. At present, Germany's domestic logging industry has not yet recovered to the level at the beginning of this year.
