Swedish softwood lumber export prices rise in May, but remain well below last year
In May 2023, Swedish softwood lumber export prices increased slightly by +1.6% compared to the previous month. They remain below May 2022 with -35.1%. They are above their levels of May 2020 (+34.3%) but below those of May 2021 (−17%).Compared to May 2022, the export prices of pine lumber decreased -29.6% and those of spruce lumber decreased by -37.8%.
