Record wood pellet production in Germany
In the first quarter of 2019, so many wood pellets were produced in Germany as never before during this period in a single quarter. The production volume amounts to 650,000 tons. This is 3.5% more than in the previous quarter, the 4th quarter of 2018 and 11% or 65,000 tons more than in the same quarter of the previous year, the 1st quarter of 2018. 96.7% of the production was ENplus A1 quality pellets, 3.3% industrial grade - significantly higher than in the 4th quarter of 2018 (2.1%).
