The production volumes of the Finnish plywood industry declined y-o-y by 1.1%, reaching 1,140 million m3. A similar decrease was noticed in 2015, when the volumes reached 1,160 million m3.  Yet, the production volume is now stable, following the trend shown from 2009 to 2014, according to figures published on 3 February by the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (FFIF).  The production level reached in 2016 is still far from the record levels in 2006 (1,415 million m3) and 2007 (1,410 million m3), but considerably less that the 2008 level ...
