Pellet prices in Europe continue to decline at the beginning of 2023
According to the German Pellet Institute (DEPI), a ton of pellets in Germany for end users (gross) in January 2023 cost €499 when buying 6 tons, which is 7.1% less than in December 2022 (€537) and 36.1% more than in January 2022 (€367). The average price (gross) for pellets of a batch of 26 tons in January 2023 was €483 per ton, decreasing by 5.7% compared to December 2022 (€512) and increasing by 37.7% compared to January 2022 (€ 350).
