Plywood sales in the Russian market fell from 1.7% to 12.9% per year from 2014 to 2018. Russian plywood sales in 2018 were 1.38 million cubic meters, a decrease of 24.5% compared to 2014.   The main reasons for the decline in plywood sales were the Russian economic crisis, the depreciation of the ruble exchange rate and high inflationary pressures.
