Trading in framing lumber limped toward the holidays, as buyers kept a low profile. Prices were flat to mixed, but losers outnumbered gainers and the Random Lengths Framing Lumber Composite Price posted a second consecutive weekly decline.  Buyers placed orders here and there, usually in small lots and specified lengths to fill inventory holes.
