Jartek has secured new thermal modification equipment orders in Cameroon and the United States, including a three-kiln project that will establish ThermoWood production in Africa for the first time. Three Jartek kilns will be installed at Sefeccam’s sawmill in Douala as part of a project involving Sefeccam, LDCwood and RTT Houtimport. LDCwood, part of Belgium’s Lemahieu Group, will market the thermally modified fraké internationally under the new SanghaWood brand.
