Global survey reveals glimmer of hope for the wood industry in the upcoming period
GWMI released the results of its business sentiment survey conducted from September 15, 2023, to October 5, 2023, among its members worldwide. In response to the first question, "Did your revenues grow in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period of 2023?" 68% of companies answered negatively. In most of Europe, Russia, China, South-East Asia, Brazil, and North America, the majority of companies reported a decline in their revenues in the first half of 2023.
