According to the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the German producer price indices for commercial products such as sawn timber, sawmill by-products and pellets mostly increased in August 2022 compared to the previous month.    However, the index for spruce sawn timber developed downwards. In a year-on-year comparison, the increase in sawmill by-products was particularly striking.
