After a difficult year 2023, the European parquet market seems to have hit the bottom in 2024 with a decline of just under 5%. At the occasion of its January Board of Directors meeting held at BAU, Munich, FEP – the European Parquet Federation - estimates that the overall consumption figure on the European parquet market for the year 2024 decreased by just under 5% compared to 2023. This evaluation should be considered as a preliminary forecast and is the result of the best estimates discussed with member country representatives.
