Conifex forecasts further reduction in lumber shipments
Conifex Timber Inc. reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. The company incurred net loss of $9.1 million or $0.19 per share in Q2, 2019. This compares with net income of $9.2 million or $0.35 per share in the second quarter of 2018. The revenues totaled $95.7 million, significantly lower by 31%, in comparison with the corresponding quarter last year. Conifex recorded operating loss of $19.1 million in the lumber segment.
