Canadian San Group has signed an agreement to purchase land on the Port Alberni Catalyst Paper mill site in order to build a new sawmill. This month San Group also announced an additional third shift at its Coulson Mill near Port Alberni, Sao Observer reported.   According to the agreement, San Group will acquire 25-acres of the Catalyst Paper mill site in Port Alberni, with the deal providing additional supply of wood chips to supplement production for Catalyst’s operations in B.C., according to Sao Observer.  The agreement represents a total investment of between $60 ...
