Brazil’s roundwood exports hit record high
Brazil has never exported so much roundwood as in April and May 2021, according to the Secretariat of Foreign Trade in the Ministry of Economy. Some 537,000 tonnes of roundwood were shipped in April and May 2021, about 3 times more when compared to the same period in 2020. In the first five months of the year the country has exported 1 million tonnes, representing 116% more than the volume exported from January to May 2020.
