Bergs Timber meets conditions for complete acquisition of Norvik Timber Industries in the Baltics
Bergs Timber announces that all conditions for the company’s acquisition of Norvik’s wood products in the Baltic countries and the UK are met. The acquisition was mainly conditional on: resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders final approval from the relevant banks for the acquisition and its financing. Through the acquisition Bergs Timber is expected to become a major player in the sawmill market, increasing sawmilling capacity from about 530,000 m³ per year to approximately 920,000 m³ per year.
