The Austrian sawmill industry continues to show solid demand for spruce roundwood, with sufficient storage capacity and quick turnover of available assortments. Prices have remained stable in most federal states. The storms in recent weeks caused only limited and very localized storm damage. Logging and transport capacity remain sufficient.
