The Austrian sawmill industry is reviving, the demand for spruce sawlogs has picked up noticeably after the Christmas shutdowns. Prices for the 1st quarter of 2023 have risen again. Across Austria, the price for spruce A/C 2b+ is between 103 and 120 euros per cubic meter.
