Setra returns to operating profit in Q2 as timber costs ease
Swedish wood products group Setra returned to an operating profit in the second quarter of 2026, helped by lower timber costs and internal efficiency measures, although weaker-than-expected softwood lumber prices continued to limit earnings. Setra reported an operating profit of SEK 15 million (€1.4 million) for April-June, compared with a loss of SEK 60 million (€5.5 million) in the same period last year.
