Latvian veneer producer AmberBirch is making nearly €50 million in investments in Krustpils to double its production capacity and expand its product range, the company said on Monday. The company, which opened its plant five years ago on a former military airfield, plans to increase birch veneer output from around 45,000 cubic meters per year to 90,000 cubic meters.
