Swedish sawmill giant Vida Ab has announced reductions in log prices in southern Sweden, marking the first price drop in ten years. Vida’s CEO Jörgen Henriksson told Swedish financial newspaper ATL that tight conditions in the sawn timber market are the main reason behind the decision.
