Stora Enso acquisition of Junnikkala sawmill company gets green
The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) sees no obstacle to Stora Enso acquiring Junnikkala Oy. The Authority investigated the competitive effects of the acquisition of Stora Enso Oyj and Junnikkala Oy, particularly on the procurement of roundwood. Stora Enso announced last October that it would acquire the entire share capital of Junnikkala in 2024.
