Egger Group has started construction at its 22nd plant in Markt Bibart, Germany, committing over €200 million to develop new facilities focused on recycling and sustainability. Acquired in November 2023 from Rauch, the plant is now the site of an extensive, multi-phase project to process recycled wood and produce laminated chipboard with decorative finishes. Construction began in late September on a new recycling facility that will process wood waste from items like old furniture and packaging materials.
